Langham Pasadena Wedding Video Same Day Edit
Our Bride and Groom held an Aisan American style wedding starting at thier home and ending up at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena for an amazing wedding and an artistic renditon of their wedding day dispayed on a large screen in front of thier friends, family and guests.
This wedding video is called our Same Day Edit and is instantly edited on the wedding day. The bride and groom took home finished versions of the masterpiece on ipod and digital media files to share time and time again.
This also represents what we can accompish with just one DSLR 35mm digital film camera on your wedding day. Shot and edited by Gary it took all day to shoot and about 3 hours to edit on one of our MACBook Pro’s using Final Cut Pro (FCP). To be honest, its never the gear that makes the wedding video look good, its the skill of the cameraman and the editor which in this case was the same person.
The Langham Pasadena Hotel was gartious enough to supply an area just off to the side of the main ballroom to complete the edit. Our bride booked and additional service from us since her family was interested in a long format version of the wedding for the entire family to enjoy so Bruce was added as main videographer to capture longer portions of the day to be edited into a full feature version. None of Bruce’s shots were needed to complete our same day edit. All the shots come from one camera (the dslr) Canon 5D Mark II. Since owning these cameras we have shot most of our weddings videso as same day edits which rival the image quality and film style shots from the best photographers or fimmakers.
